Dragon Slayer

Long since bored of the heroes of fairytales being Princes who get all the dragon slaying fun whilst the Princess lies sleeping, Leah has reinvented herself as some sort of tiny feminist icon, and we've been searching the streets of Martinez for dragons, sword in hand, usually on my shoulders, for some time now.

Behind the byre at Grennan is an old water mill. That much was obvious. What I hadn't noticed was that there is a dragon's cave about four metres below it, where the dragon has been sleeping.

Like any idiot, I couldn't resist indulging this fantasy, so boiled a couple of eggs, and planted them in wait.

I heardby declare the first discovery of Dragon's Eggs in many a year on these shores. Watch out George, you have some competition.
