Beixa Flor

Hidden in the Delta, north of Martinez in Tigre, are a world of waterways of hideaways, the best of which, in my humble opinion, is Beixa Flor, introduced to us by Ollie and Emma, forever a keen eye for a gem.

Run by true bare footed bohemians, who you suspect would look at you very strangely if you asked them if the financial crisis was affecting business, you arrive to medialunas and coffee, drinks served throughout the day, a swim before homemade pasta and beautiful desserts, and then swing yourself to siesta on a hammock before the river taxi takes you home.

Bliss.
